Illusive Illustrations
Michael Miller’s "Illusive Illustrations" mixes digital layers, careful cross-hatching, and graphite drawing into a single style. Hand-drawn lines give precise detail; graphite adds a tactile base. Digital work adds color washes, slight distortions, and glowing highlights, making scenes feel both close and oddly unfamiliar. The cross-hatching builds complex shadows and rhythm, revealing hidden shapes and emotions as you look longer.
